Quality system

To ensure the quality of the goods and services it supplies, Ferona, a.s. has implemented a certified quality management system according to EN ISO 9001:2015.

IN THE ENTIRE COMPANY FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS

"Purchase, storage, treatment, sale and transport of metallurgical materials, secondary products, non-ferrous metals, and related range of hardware goods in the wholesale. Slitting and cutting to length of steel coils. Production of welded hollow sections with circular, square and rectangular shape of structural plane steel. Testing of metallic material properties. Sheet flame and plasma cutting and Euro beams splitting, including blasting." – see Certificate and annex. It is valid until 26 July 2021.

 

The QMS does not apply elements 8.3 of the standard "design and development" (new products or services are not developed in a systematic manner) . The QMS according to ISO 9001:2015 does not apply the process validation element for production and service provision (8.5.1 f), since there are no special processes in Ferona.

 Retail sales outlets are not included in the existing QMS.

Every year selected organizational units are audited to check whether Ferona's quality management system is suitable, appropriate, and effective.

the QMS is also certified per IATF 16949:2016 for "Longitudinal and lateral cutting of steel rolls" – see Certificate and annex. The certificate is valid until 28 July 2021.

The QMS is described in the Quality Manual, in process and metrics cards, in documented procedures (Guidelines, Instructions), and in other managed documents. In order to achieve strategic objectives, Ferona has declared a Quality Policy, with Quality Objectives and related measures being regularly drawn up and evaluated in order to achieve it.

All activities that directly contribute to Ferona's line of business and help satisfy the needs and expectations of customers are summarized in Ferona's "Trading in Commodities" macro-process. To more precisely establish responsibilities and increase management efficiency, this macro-process is split into six implementation processes that follow the flow of goods and information, from the customer's requirements to the delivery of the resultant product (goods, service) to the customer.

The Customer Quality Manual serves to inform customers how their needs and expectations are fulfilled.
